Greetings everyone!

Thanks for visiting our blog. Hopefully, it will provide you with useful info about our upcoming nuptials.

With luck, you have all received your invitations and your return cards are now sailing back to us on the wings of Canada Post. (Apologies to those in the US who got their invites a bit late, due to the difficulties of acquiring stamps for the return cards.)

Wedding Date & Details
March 10, 2007

Tea & Refreshments: at the church, immediately following the ceremony
Ceremony: 2 pm at Christ the King Lutheran Church
Reception: 6 pm at Le Gala Banquet and Conference Centre

Meals
Make a note somewhere on your response card if you need a special meal, e.g., if you are diabetic or if you are a vegetarian, so that we can do our best to feed you something appropriate.

If you need a vegetarian or diabetic meal and you forgot to mention it on your return card, just drop us an email (see the addresses two paragraphs above). Hopefully the bride being a vegetarian will give the veggies an advantage in terms of the quality of the meal!

Hotels in Whitby
We have reserved blocks of rooms at two Whitby hotels. Both are close to the 401, the GO station (Whitby is on the Lakeshore East line) and the reception venue (Le Gala).


Remember: the reserved blocks of rooms will only be held until February 10, 2007.

Never fear if you have missed miss this deadline--there are plenty of hotels in the area (see info below).
